Lord Shri Ram Chandra

Lord Krishna appeared as Lord Ram Chandra, the “Maryada Purushottam” - The Ideal Incarnation. 

Just as Krishna means one who is All Attractive, Ram means the one who “all pleasing”.

The purpose for Lord Ram’s Divine appearance was to perform various pastimes and show by His own example, the ideal behavior in various relationships of this world: as an ideal son, brother, husband, friend, & as an ideal king.

Lord Ram enacted His numerous pastimes to not only please all His devotees but to also set exemplary standards for the whole humanity. Standards so perfect that people everywhere can follow eternally for their own good.
