Akhand Bharat Vision Vedic Culture and The Unity Formula
According to Vedic/Sanatan Dharma history, up until 5000 years ago this whole planet was known as Bharat Varsha.
That was the ORIGINAL Akhand Bharat!!
With JUST one emperor, with one Flag, based in Hastinapur/Indraprastha, for the whole world.
And the Unity Formula then, as given in Gita Mahatmya, was & STILL IS:
ekaḿ śāstraḿ devakī-putra-gītam
eko devo devakī-putra eva
eko mantras tasya nāmāni yāni
karmāpy ekaḿ tasya devasya sevā
“Let there be one scripture only, one common scripture for the whole world — Bhagavad-gita. Let there be one God for the whole world — Śri Krsna. Let there be only one hymn, one mantra, one prayer — the chanting of His name: Hare Krsna, Hare Krsna, Krsna Krsna, Hare Hare/ Hare Rama, Hare Rama, Rama Rama, Hare Hare. Let there be one work only — the service of the Supreme Personality of Godhead.” Gita Mahatmya text 7
This FORMULA was in place until Pandav’s grandson Parikshit Maharaj and FINALLY till his son, Maharaj Janmejaya.
Unfortunately, after Janmejaya, as people began to forget this Unity Formula due to the influence of Kaliyuga, One Akhand Bharat Varsha, in over the course of past 5000 years now stand divided into about 200 countries worldwide.
For name sake there is the United Nations. But that’s only on paper because since founding of UN in 1945, the number of countries around the world has simply increased.
In mathematics there are two concepts: Differentiation & Integration.
So as is well documented now, massive Differentiation has already taken place in the past 5000 years.
And it will still continue due to deep human ambition to control and dominate others. That means more and more people desire to be PMs, Presidents, dictators & Kings.
However, in the ideal Vedic culture, in Ram Rajya, to become a King or leader is not to dominate & exploit citizens for personal enjoyment, but to Serve the citizens like the father serves all his children in a good family.
That’s why Lord Ram is still being remembered, admired & worshiped and people are hankering for Ram Rajya even today.
So for those of us who are sincerely seeking to RESTORE Akhand Bharat, we need to carefully review this Unity Formula again.
And this FORMULA is supported & confirmed by the VERY LAST instruction of Gita also:
yatra yogeśvaraḥ kṛṣṇo
yatra pārtho dhanur-dharaḥ
tatra śrīr vijayo bhūtir
dhruvā nītir matir mama
“Wherever there is Kṛṣṇa, the master of all mystics, and wherever there is Arjuna, the supreme archer, there will also certainly be opulence, victory, extraordinary power, and morality. That is my opinion.” Gita 18.78
